Hello, I’m Rohan. I am an experienced Android and React-Native developer and have been in this industry for around 3 years. Freelancer

  • Working with Aura Health on their cross-platform application in React-Native. Shipping new features to a global user base with around 14,000 daily active users. Using A/B testing to understand user behaviours and feedbacks for new features.
  • Designed and developed a suite of applications for Swasth Inc. Consumed APis from AWS AppSync along with other AWS services like AWS Pinpoint and Congnito.
  • Designed and developed a React-Native mobile application for Lanter Delivery Assurance. Used Google Firebase as backend for database, storage and authentication.

Feb 2019 - Present

Senior Product Engineer

  • Worked on React Native. Lead the company’s first attempt at bringing cross-platform application development. Moved a native application to React Native along with development of new features in React Native.
  • Lead development of insurance module in the Servify Android application. Communicatedand coupled with API developers and business to create a complete product.
ServifyApril 2018 - Feb 2019

Software Product Engineer

  • Developed Servify Android application on MVP architecture along with Dagger and RxJava. Worked closely with design teams and backend teams.
  • Used product flavors to create multiple brand specific applications.
  • Made Servify Android application an offline first app with the use of SQL Lite database and Room. Use of threading and RxJava to run background database queries

Conceptualised, designed and developed an application that lets you easily split expenses between friends and in groups. Worked in Kotlin, Firebase, and Realm to create real-time chat and to add offline capabilities. Also learned a bit of Adobe Photoshop and Design Principles. Ran Facebook Ads and Google AdWord Campaigns and a dedicated Facebook Page for Digital Marketing.

DBT-Coach



Developed a mobile application for Swasth Inc. The application is developed in React-Native and published for both Android and iOS. Worked with AWS services like AWS Pinpoint, AWS Congnito and AWS S3 including consuming GraphQL APIs from AWS AppSync.

Worked in a team of 4 to develop a quiz styled Android game. Worked on the design, colors and animations of the application along with core Android development. Worked with In-App Ads powered by Google AdMob. Used interstitial and rewarded video ads.
